To encourage families with school age children during the half term periods of February and May, although this is classed as a peak holiday period by the travel industry in general, the price if my villas does not increase. The same cannot be said for many other owners and agents. This policy has proved to be very successful giving the villas almost 100% occupancy during these times.

It is worth noting the price of flights can vary from airport to airport during these periods because of the regional differences in how schools and local education authorities now vary the dates of these half term breaks.

The main half term breaks for February 2007 will be in and around Thursday 15th / 22nd Feb and for 2008 will be in and around the 14th / 21st Feb.
The main half term breaks for May 2007 will be in and around Thursday 24th / 31st May and for 2008 will be in and around the 22nd / 29th May, taking in the bank holiday Monday at the end of May. 2008 is a leap year.

A spin off from how schools and local education authorities now stagger the February and May half term holidays, is sometimes cheaper flights that can be available just before and just after these periods. This is due to the airlines ramping up seat availability just before and ramping down just after the half terms, and their needs to get bums on seats to fill the aircraft. This can be an advantage to our couples travelling and the parties with no children if the object of your holiday is to miss the little loves having your fun time when they are back in school.

In addition to the Feb and May half term holidays, just before and after the Easter end of term, and the October half term periods cheaper flight prices can also occur. The same can be said for the weeks just before Christmas. The week immediately after the New Year break traditionally has produced some of the lowest flight prices of the year.

Finally the period of the summer holidays can produce some good flight pricing for the last 2 Thursdays in June and departing the last Thursday in August.

Lanzarote is fast becoming a long weekend or short break destination. Normally 4 hours flying time and a sub tropical climate make it your destination for that bit of luxury or that special celebration. For these reasons we have introduced a range of 3 & 4 night stays. Flights are rapidly becoming available from a whole host of carriers now with full online booking. We are able to offer in the lower season week’s arrivals on Sunday until Wednesday or Thursday or a Thursday arrival until Sunday or Monday. For couples, a maximum of 4 nights our charges are £280 for a 3 bed villa with private fully heated pool. Your private Jacuzzis, a bottle of chilled wine, flowers, chocolates and a personalised welcome card will be awaiting your arrival. Other bookings can be advised upon such as airport transfer to your villa, health, beauty and spa treatments, restaurant bookings.

Please take special note of the following:-

1. We will only offer these 3-4 night stays in the lower season periods. They would not normally be available during any peak and school holiday times.
2. Away from our normal Thursday arrival, we can during a very limited period offer some Sunday arrivals but again never in peak or school holiday periods. Please do not be offended if we refuse your request.The lower season weeks would normally be:-

   a) First 3 weeks in Jan
   b) Early April thro May (depending on Easter)
   c) Early Nov thro mid Dec
   d) Other small seasonal variations exist please ask.

Due to the great geographic location of Lanzarote and the sub tropical all year round climate Villasun has come up with another great offer for families with younger children. Single mums or dads with granny or granddad will also qualify. In an effort to encourage families with pre school children when older children are in school, subject to availability, and the following criteria being met our 2 person couples rate of £490 per week or the 4 person £580 per week rates will apply with 2 free pre school children.

Criteria:
1) This special offer is only available during normal school term times and will never be offered during any peak period, half or full term holidays including Xmas, Easter & the summer period.
2) All children in the party should at time of travel be pre school age. Normally 4 years old or under.
3) A maximum of 2 free child places per booking.
Our normal free cots and high chairs will still apply. Please don't forget top and bottom sheets for the cot. All persons big and small will receive a normal towel allocation. The free welcome pack will still be provided.
