Costa Teguise Restaurants

Eating out in Costa Teguise comes in many shapes, sizes and tastes. In this blog we will attempt to cover what most of us look for. Good value. Tapas. Kids food. The Mediterranean platter. Eastern food. Take away. Gluten free options and of course Sea food. Within a short 10 minute walk of our Las Calas villas. I reckon you can eat from every continent of the world. If we come across an unusual dish or maybe just a different way of presentation we will try to give it a mention.

My family are not fussy eaters and I personally will eat most things. In this Costa Teguise Restaurants blog we will try to be as objective as possible. If any of our clients have suggestions to help our fellow holiday makers, as always just drop me a line. This blog is not designed to be an “Advisory” type of post. I have no faith in them as sometimes they have a quite vindictive approach. Making a reservation on the strength of a great review, sometimes bogus leading to junk food and poor service.

As opposed to a holiday type of restaurant I would always try to eat where the locals do. I will always look at special boards to see what is in season or fresh that day. Keeping an eye on price along the way. Keep in mind some of the local house wines can be great value when compared to the wine list.

Eating out in Costa Teguise

Eatalian – Italian Wine Bar, CC Las Cucharas

Located just across from the Villasun Las Calas Villas. One of the different Costa Teguise bars.

Alessia (a real Italian lady) offers a great selection of her countries best wines and Prosecco. All drinks served with nibbles and tapas bites. A real “Chill out”. Free Wi-Fi, sit and read your tablet newspaper or start your evening with a bit of class, or should that be Glass !

Bluebells Bar – Costa Teguise. The market square Pueblo Marinaro

Located in what every body refers to as the “Friday Market”

Table service if you want, sit and chill. People watching becomes and Olympic sport. Range of Spanish beers, Estrella Damm on tap, original spirits, and coffee during the day. One of the better Costa Teguise bars.

The location is great when the markets are on. For the weekly markets The Costa Teguise Friday Market is the big one but other markets during the week included an island produce market on Tuesday mornings.

El Abogado Bar – CC Las Cucharas

How’s about this for something different. The bar owner is actually a working solicitor in Germany. He comes on holiday 3 or so times a year and opens his bar. ! Normally January, June/July time and October the bar being open for around 3 to 4 weeks at a time.

Jochen the owner offers a great welcome to all. A nice place to chill out during the day or on the way in or out to your evening meal. We wont hold this against him but he is a big supporter of his local football team back in Germany FC Köln.
